Chef Josh has over 15 years experience in the culinary arts, and boasts a resume that includes coveted positions in esteemed private country clubs, resorts and hotels. His culinary experience has included assignments in Captiva Island, Naples, and Lake Wales, Florida, as well as the Chautauqua Institution and Bemus Point in western New York and private country clubs in western Pennsylvania. He blends Classical French-American Cuisine with captivating presentation to create an eclectic menu that is sure to please the most discriminating diner. A member of Adirondack Harvest, Josh likes to use ingredients from local farmers whenever possible. He is certified in gluten-free cooking and is skilled in the craft of garde manger. Over the past two years, Chef Josh has been serving guests of the Essex Inn on the Adirondack Coast in Essex, New York, where he leases the Inn and restaurant and is the acting Chef.
