Ingredients
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Zest and juice of 1 orange
- 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1/2 cup water
Steps
- Put everything in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Turn it down and simmer 10-12 minutes, stirring now and then, until most of the berries have burst and it coats the spoon.
- Take it off the heat while it still looks slightly loose. It sets hard as it cools.
- Cool to room temperature and refrigerate.
👨🍳 Better on day three than day one. Make it the weekend before.
