Sweet and morning
From The Hampton Grocer · Montauk, New York · @thehamptongrocer
Samantha Sherman ran events for O Ya and Covina in Manhattan until Covid shut them down. She moved out to Montauk, started a grocery shopping service, and her mother-in-law Janet Perlstein's granola became the first thing she made to sell. They still make it together. In 2022 her grain-free granola won best new product at the Summer Fancy Food Show.
A mother-in-law's granola, from Montauk. Clusters you actually want to eat out of the bag. I put it on roasted pears and yogurt and call it breakfast.
Cook with it
25 min · serves 2 · Hot, jammy pears against cold yogurt, and the granola goes on at the very last second so it stays crunchy.
