One slice of whatever pie survived, two cups of vanilla ice cream, half a cup of milk. Blend. Pecan is my favorite. Crust and all, that's the point.

One slice of any leftover pie blended with vanilla ice cream and milk, topped with whipped cream.
You need
- 1 slice leftover pie, any kind (pumpkin, apple, pecan, cherry)
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- Whipped cream, for topping
How to make it
- Cut the pie slice into chunks, crust and all.
- Put the milk in the blender first, then the ice cream and the pie.
- Blend until smooth, 30 to 45 seconds. Too thick, add a splash of milk; too thin, add a scoop of ice cream.
- Pour into a tall glass and top with whipped cream. Crumble a bit of extra crust over if you have it.
Chef's notes- Freeze the slice for 30 minutes first for a thicker shake.
- Pecan pie with butter pecan ice cream is the best version.
