Brown sugar and mustard glazed ham
A spiral ham is already cooked: you are only warming it and glazing it. The easiest centerpiece there is, and it feeds a crowd.

Mix the glaze up to a week ahead and keep it in the fridge.
Add it to your plan and Chef puts these on the right days, and fits it into your oven on Thursday.
Heat the oven to 325°F. Set the ham cut-side down in a roasting pan, pour the cider around it and cover tightly with foil. Warm about 14 minutes a pound, until the center reads 120°F.
Simmer the sugar, mustard, vinegar and cloves for 3 minutes, until syrupy. Uncover the ham, turn the oven up to 400°F, brush on half the glaze and bake 10 minutes. Brush again and bake 10 more, until shiny and caramelized at the edges (140°F inside).
Rest 15 minutes, then cut along the bone to release the spiral slices.
