1. Pick the dinner

The dish every city is known for, each with its own recipe page. Or type the dinner you remember.

2. Tell us the night

A person at Chef Amazing writes back within a day with the chef, the menu and the full price. Our fee is in that price. Nothing is booked until you say yes. Sending this also opens a free Chef Amazing account for your email.

Good to know

What does it cost?

Chefs set their own prices, and they vary by city, menu and how many are eating. Teachers in our directory publish numbers like $100 to $250 a person for a private group. The quote you get back is the full price, Chef Amazing's fee included, and nothing is booked until you say yes.

Who are the chefs?

Cooking teachers and private chefs near you. In the cities we cover we start with the teachers in Chef Amazing's cooking-class directory who take private groups, then local private chefs. A person at Chef Amazing writes to them for you.

Will they cook a dish from another country?

That's the point. Tell us the dinner you had (the tagliatelle in Bologna, the khao soi in Chiang Mai) and we look for a chef who cooks that food well. If we can't find one who does it justice, we say so.

What do I need in my kitchen?

A stove, an oven and room to work. The chef brings the food, the special tools and usually cleans up. We ask what your kitchen has before anything is booked.

Can I give it as a gift?

Yes. Put it in the note and we'll set it up as a gift for the person, on a night that suits them.

Where Chef knows the chefs

Anywhere works: type your town in the form. In these cities we already know who to ask.
