Where to eat in St. Augustine

St. Augustine cooks with the datil pepper, a small hot pepper tied to the Minorcan families who settled here in the 1700s, and its best-known bowl is a red, tomato-based Minorcan clam chowder. Fried shrimp at O'Steen's on Anastasia Island has drawn lines since 1965. In 2026 the Michelin Guide Florida reached the city for the first time, naming two Bib Gourmands and two Recommended restaurants.
