How students save in Barcelona

  1. Lunch is the main meal in Spain. The 'menú del día' (two courses, bread, drink) is the best value of the day, around €13 to €15.
  2. Eat late like locals: dinner at 9pm or after, and nothing feels empty.
  3. Tap water is fine to drink, and you can ask for it.
